Heavy duty door hinges and locking mechanism. The chain link fencing is made from 5.5cm (2.17) square mesh; if you are planning to use the run for a small pet please be sure to check this is suitable.

Chain link fencing wire needs to be attached to the metal frame using metal ties (Cable ties are not secure enough), this is the only way to guarantee your dog/puppy can't escape from the run, you will need a pair of pliers and metal snips. This part of the process takes the longest but if you attach the mesh properly the item will last for years. Once the chain link is attached to the frame we recommend you trim along the top edge to get a professional finish just like the item in our pictures. The instructions suggest the run needs two people to build it and this will certainly speed up the process and make it easier, the run pictured was actually built by one person.
